Bikini & Swimwear Season? The Best UK Made Beach Wear

The sun is shining, the sea is warming up and its time to break out your swimwear. But wait… If it’s time to pick up a new bikini or swimming shorts, don’t just head to your local chain store. There are tons of great brands that make their clothes right here in the UK. In fact some even make their swimwear right here in Devon and Cornwall…

So if you want to keep it local this summer, check out these great bikini and swimwear brands from the Westcountry.

Davy J

This small swimwear designer from Plymouth makes ethical and sustainable swimming costumes including bikinis and one piece costumes. The designs are quite plain and understated, and you won’t find a Brazilian cut here. But they are made from recycled fishing nets, and if you cossie is looking a bit tired, send it back for 20% off a new one.

These funky Mermaid inspired swimming costumes from Cornish brand Zennor Bikinis are very contemporary and cool. They’re also UK made and proudly anti-sweatshop. If DavyJ has a more functional look, then Zennor definitely looks more like the beach bum/surfer girl type.

You’ll find colourful one piece swimming costumes and cool (and cheeky) bikinis in a variety of cuts.
